On Saturday I visited Tesco's F&F Pop-up shop in Covent Garden.
F&F is an online-only range from Tesco, and this shop used lots of the latest techniques in retail, for example:
No sales - you couldn't buy anything in store, but you could try things on. This meant that the shop didn't have to be re-stocked during its 4 day run, but all sizes were stocked, so that people could try them on.
Augmented reality - All of the clothing tags were Aurasma-enabled - see video below:
Clearly a lot of work went into the 4 day pop-up. Let's hope they learn lots and can innovate even further!
