Online Treasure Hunt For Budget Rent A Car
I love these things!
A year or so ago Jeep did an online GeoCaching competition - effectively a high tech treasure hunt.
Now Budget Rent a Car have done one - and you don't need a GPS machine.
Here's how it works: Video clues for four new cities per week, for four weeks, can be found at the Up Your Budget site (developed by Design 4 Results). There will be a new video clue there each day of the week for each city (but the name of the city isn't shared - treasure hunters are left with only a region and must discover the city themselves). This example is very good.
Load this page, click on 'reset' (top right hand corner) and reload the page
Mouse over the ad at the top, and select a genre of music to sample - Rock, Country or Hip Hop.
Then click on 'next ad' (top right hand corner) and you get an ad specific to the genre that you selected.

New Burger King Micro Site - Power Sitting
Here. Very odd, and even more so for starring Harry Enfield, lookin glike a cross between Tim Nice But Dim and the vicar from Dick Emery. Will be lost on the American target audience, of course.
